A puppy check-up

>> Thursday, February 26, 2009

Spud is always a happy dog. Even when I sadly had to pick him up to go for a "ride" yesterday that eventually led to the veterinarian's office, he didn't mind.

He made out a few sad noises once he learned that we weren't going to visit grandma and grandpa, or perhaps uncle Anthony, but he didn't let that bring him down. He wagged his little tail all the way into the little room to get his check-up.

Other than the fact that I guess he has hairy ears, they said he looks great! They gave him his shots and we picked up his license. Don't tell anyone, but we forgot to get his license last year! So this is his first year wearing his little tags, and at first it was scaring him when they would jingle! He'd look around to see where it was coming from and make them jingle some more. I think he's got all that under control now and it's nice to know we're not harboring an unlicensed dog.

He's so cute. I think I need a Spud! I'm sure he would love to play with the Rook....

He IS cute! He's almost 2 years right? Mister will be 2 on the 13! I can't believe it's been 2 years!
That's funny about the jiggling noise. It's nice to know where the dog is by listening, but in the middle of the night, he'll itch and wake you up! Mister's good at that!
