A Christmas Eve birthday

After work on Christmas Eve, my hubby and I drove to my parent's house for the biggest little birthday. My nephew, Nathan, turned one-years-old on Chrismas Day and to keep the birthday celebrations seperate we decided to throw him a party on Christmas Eve.

I can't believe how quickly this year went. It feels like just yesterday that Chris and I sat impatiently in a waiting room waiting for Nathan's arrival.

Now here we are wearing birthday hats at Christmas! He's just non-stop fun.

I have to say he wasn't too sure about the whole present and cake thing but I betcha next year he'll be digging into the gifts with frosting on his face.
